Exploring Unique Fantasy Magic Systems with Emilie Knight

This is the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast Episode 53 with Emilie Knight.

Good day and welcome to this episode of the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast. I’m your host, podcaster and author of Fun Fantasy Reads, Jamie Davis. This podcast is exactly what the title says it is, a show focused on everything in fantasy books.

This show will cover everything to do with fantasy books. From Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, and everything in between, expect to find the best and brightest authors from all the various corners of the fantasy book world. Plus we’ll add in a few other very special guests as well along the way.

In my update, I’m laser-focused on the launch of book 2 in the Broken Throne series, Prophecy’s Child. That is coming up this Friday. You can still get started with book one if you want to get caught up. Pick up The Charm Runner now and start reading.

From a writing standpoint, I’m putting the finishing touches on Cyber’s Underground, book 3 in the Sapiens Run Trilogy. That needs to get finished by the middle of the month so it can go to the editor and get worked over there. The narrator, Sarah Gise is waiting to get started on the audiobook.

As always, if you’re interested in more information on what I’m up to, check out my fan group on Facebook, Jamie’s Fun Fantasy Readers and on my website and blog, JamieDavisBooks.com.

Now let’s get into our author interview for this episode. I had the privilege of interviewing Emilie Knight this week for the show. Emilie Knight is a constant writer, and author of her debut “Era of Undying“, with the prequel “Dagger and Scythe” coming out soon.

After years of reading fantasy and horror she combines them together into her own dark fantasy writing. Using her BA in Classical Civilizations and fascination in Ancient Greek mythology she blends it well into her fiction. Other than reading in her spare time, she says she plays video games quite often.
