A Splash of Jules Verne and H.P. Lovecraft with Jack Conner

This is the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast Episode 64 with Jack Conner.

Good day and welcome to this episode of the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast. I’m your host, podcaster and author of Fun Fantasy Reads, Jamie Davis. This podcast is exactly what the title says it is, a show focused on everything in fantasy books.

This show will cover everything to do with fantasy books. From Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, and everything in between, expect to find the best and brightest authors from all the various corners of the fantasy book world. Plus we’ll add in a few other very special guests as well along the way.

I’m excited today because I launched Stolen Destiny, Book 4 in the Broken Throne saga today. Launch days are always a bit stressful, with lots of things to do and follow up. That said, it’s out there and I urge you all to check out the whole series starting with The Charm Runner.

I also just got Cyber’s Underground back from the editor. His response was it’s the best of the Sapiens Run trilogy and a great way to wrap up the story. I’m sending it out to the narrator, Sarah Gise, today so she can get started on the audiobook. All versions of the book should be out in October. Stay tuned for updates on the specific launch date.

As always, if you’re interested in more information on what I’m up to, check out my fan group on Facebook, Jamie’s Fun Fantasy Readers and on my website and blog, JamieDavisBooks.com.

Okay, let’s get into this episode’s guest. Jack Conner wrote the shortest author bio of anyone so far on the podcast. He simply says he writes fantasy, sci-fi and horror, sometimes all at the same time and that he lives in Austin, Texas.

Believe me, there’s a whole lot more behind this fantastic author than just that. We talk about his groundbreaking Atomic Sea series which has elements of such iconic authors as Jules Verne and H.P. Lovecraft.

Check out my chat with Jack, coming right up.
